Brent Hale – Executive Chef / Owner

Chef Hale began his career in Fort Worth, Texas by working as a personal chef to the President of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  From there he created his first catering company, Dining By Design.

Chef Hale founded BIG sexy Food in January of 2016 specializing high end, in home dining.  BIG sexy Food expanded into the food truck business in August of 2016 offering Modern American cuisine with a focus on off the wall burgers.  Chef Hale recently opened Cantina 1836, a true TexMex experience in Fayetteville, AR.  Cantina 1836 opened in the same food truck park as BIG sexy Food, right next door in fact.

Chef Hale was a recent winner of Guys Grocery Games on the Food Network, Friend or Foe episode.

Chef Hale the host of the culinary segment for NWA Alive, a locally produced show in Northwest Arkansas highlighting local happenings, entrepreneurial businesses, sports, non-profits, and the food scene.

Marina Hoofard – Cook

Marina grew up in the kitchen cooking with her dad and grandmother.  She began her professional career in 2012 with Harps Food Store in the bakery.  She attended culinary school at Brightwater, A Center For The Study of Food in Bentonville, AR.  She graduated in 2015 with associate degrees in culinary arts, hospitality, and baking.

Marina is an avid hunter and loves fishing and enjoys both in her free time.  She has a hunger for knowledge and understands that you must never stop learning your art.

 

 

Gabrielle Wilson – Cook

Gabirelle Wilson has lived all over the country but now calls Northwest Arkansas her home.  She began her culinary career as a student in April of 2015 through Brightwater, A Center For The Study Of Food in Bentonville.  She graduated in 2017 with an associate degree in culinary.  Her love of food and people can be seen in everything she does.
